The first African peace summit organized by the World Peace Initiative Foundation in partnership with Kenyatta University Mentoring Program was held on October 17-19, 2016 at Nairobi, Kenya with the theme: Nurturing a culture of peace within the youths.
Aimed at identifying strategies for conflict resolution and peacebuilding, the summit helped the youth learn, connect, discover practical tips to enhance individual potentials, personal and professional efficiency to create a culture of peace in Africa since statistics show that 65 percent of every population is made of youths.
Motivated from the event, our Executive Director, Mr. Olutomiwa Binuyo, started The Miracle Movement Community Impact now known and registered as The Sapphires Initiative where the aim is to raise world-class leaders exuding excellence in every way possible. TSDI has helped groom over 500 young persons by helping to maximize their potentials. This was done because Mr. Olutomiwa Binuyo laid the foundation for a better world where peace is a virtue.
So, at TSDI, we continue in this set pace and aim at helping youths discover peace within and without and much more, harness all round excellence through their individual and collective potentials.
